During the late-night coverage on the eve of an era, Cooper joked about how it would have been hilarious if his late mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, had been asked during a recorded interview which man she thought had the biggest “manhood” in the world of Hollywood.

Cooper explained that both he and Andy Cohen were backstage when the question was asked of his mother. Cooper kept on rambling as he knocked back another tequila shot and tried to keep up with Cohen’s sharp wit.

After taking a turn away from the darkness consuming Anderson Cooper in New York City, we take a look at CNN correspondent Randi Kaye, who is reporting live from Key West, Florida. She was joined by a drag queen dressed as a mermaid who was bathing in a tub full of rum liquor. She explained that this “queen of the sea” made her night before she jumped into the rum bath as well.

She told viewers, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a tail so huge.”

The drag queen quickly quipped, “that’s not the only thing that’s huge here, honey.” The controversial response shocked Cohen and Cooper who thought they were being edgy by joking about the large penis in Hollywood.

Cohen, who has been drinking, says, “He’s not going to ask me who’s got the biggest bleep… of anyone I’ve ever been with.”

Cooper, who can no longer hold himself back from spilling the beans, then said, “She turns to me out of the blue and goes, ‘He’s not going to ask me who’s got the biggest c–k in Hollywood, is he?’ That’s what she said.”

Twitter erupted in emotional turmoil at Cooper’s response to Cohen about his mother. These people were shocked to hear the “C-word” on television – especially a responsible cable news network like CNN.
